Day 2

Today was a laid back kind of day. I got to sleep in and relax while one of my roommates tried out for face character auditions. I took a nice shower, I coughed up some phlegm. It was great. Anyway, then I had to get ready cuz we had a housing meeting and we were suppost to be on a bus at 2:15 to arrive to our meetings at 3. Well the bus didn't even arrive til 3 and then he didn't know where he was suppost to take us. Obviously we need to get some transportation kinks fixed but its cool because when the whole group gave up and we stayed we took their seats on the bench while we waited. Don't worry they came back after the guy scolded them about leaving.

We finally get there and we are given a quick run down of all the rules and such and even a few little skits put on my the Price Management (PM) and Security team. We even learned how to win yummy chocolate: have an awesomely clean room. We also learned that there is some things in our apartment that we need to report so that we don't get in trouble come inspection time becuase it was like that when we moved in (lots of thumb tack holes in the wall, etc).

After the meeting I learned how to read the new bus schedule and went on the correct bus to get home (multiple buses, multiple stops, read the schedule). I had time to stop off and eat a lean pocket before guiding my roommates to the correct bus to return to the commons and enter into a game of GROCERY BINGO!

Now tragedy upon tragedy, no one tells you this is the most nail bitingly stressful game of bingo you have ever played in your life but it is. I mean you're all there for good fun and they try to keep it loose and happy with dance-offs and mini challenges (tonights being Mummy and involving toilet paper) but seriously everyone is so focused on winning and you can't help but get into it. Now because so many people line up to play this game I guess there are 2 sessions. We left the first one and ran right back in line for the second one since we didn't win. No rule against it so its fine.

Another thing they don't tell you about grocery bingo is that they throw stuff AT YOU! Like I was to scared to grab anything cuz I kept coming close to being hit in the face. I managed to nab a pen that hit me so I didn't come back with nothing. Not to mention I got to see an awesomely fun dance off for the last bag of groceries. I think the one guy was a go-go dancer back home and obviously he won.

Then we rode the bus and I was thankful for being a girl because I could rest my boobs on the pole to avoid hitting myself to hard against it at stops and turns because I was too short to reach the bar at the top that people use to steady themselves on the bus. So I guess ladies you have 2 options there depending on your height and guys.... I don't know what to tell you.
